Did you know that Kokay’s Maldito Dive Resort has it own Teppanyaki Grill?
Teppanyaki (鉄板焼き) teppan-yaki) is a style of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food. The word teppanyaki is derived from teppan (鉄板), which means iron plate, and yaki (焼き), which means grilled, broiled, or pan-fried.
Teppanyaki originated in Japan and later on introduced in North America. Started in Japan as the concept of cooking western-influenced food in a teppan. It is very amusing to see our food being prepared in front of us with some nice tricks like juggling some utensils, the flaming onion volcano, and some other variations made by expert chefs. You can try it at home… if you are an expert ^_^
In Kokay’s Maldito Dive Resort, we bring you a wide variety of cuisine that you can choose wherever you came from. This is to make sure that you not only enjoy your great dives but the delightful dishes as well. One of the best things that our guests enjoy the most is our “Teppanyaki Grill / Table” located right inside our Restaurant near a huge relaxing lounge fitting for you and your friends. Just beside the billiard and table soccer tables. You won’t miss any challenge games… 😉
If you are a group of four or more Japanese food enthusiasts or just some cool guys who are up for adventure or wants to try something different, hurry and reserve our Teppan table and watch our chef as he prepares your delectable Japanese food straight in front of you.
